The hydraulic ram which operates from standard laboratory air supply (60 - 100 P.S.I) via a food actuated hydraulic converter, has a 15 tonne ram with a 6" stroke, which eliminates the need for pre-tensioning the die.
The PIR-15 is a compact unit, with a very small footprint (120mm radius), which saves on bench space. The clear view, dual sliding windows have been designed to allow easy access.
A precision milled locator holds the inverted pellet and die in position for simplified hands-free pellet removal, and the unit is equipped with an easy to read 15 tonne max. pressure gauge.
